Morris Cerullo, the Legendary American Preacher and Televangelist Dies


It has emerged that Dr Morris Cerrulo the American Preacher and Televangelist has died at the age of 88.

Morris Cerrulo who was born on the 2nd of October 1931, was a major inspiration and highly respected man of God. He began his preaching ministry at 16 years of age, a very tender age to begin a ministry in the eyes of most. During this phase in his life he published over 80 Christian books.

The American Preacher was born in USA, New Jersey to be precise. Dr Cerrulo enrolled and eventually graduated from divinity school based in New York.

Shortly after this he began ministering with the assistance of his eventual wife, Theresa Cerrulo. Not too long afterwards, he was ordained in the Assemblies of God Ministries.

He has ministered in several Countries of the World including Indonesia, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, South Korea, Holland Brazil,  Zimbabwe, Mexico, amongst many others.

Amongst the numerous dignitaries who have reacted to his passing is Bishop Mike Okonkwo, the presiding Bishop of the Redeemed Evangelical Mission, popularly dubbed (TREM).

Bishop Okonkwo who has on numerous occasions invited Mr Cerrulo to preach, expressed his shock over his death.

He is quoted as saying, “Mr Father – Dr Morris Cerrulo! Like a good soldier of Christ, you fought a good fight, finished your course and kept faith (2 Timothy 4:7).

Our consolation is that you lived an impactful life, raising men across the globe for Jesus.

Adieu, Papa Cerrulo! We will miss you dearly.”
